There are formal meetings on
alternate weeks where you can :-
- see films made by members, visiting
clubs and visiting speakers
- hear visiting clubs and speakers talk
about films and film making techniques
- show your films and hear comments by a
panel of experienced film makers
- take part in the annual competition and
other ‘challenges’ and ‘theme’ evenings
There are Workshop evenings on
alternate weeks where you can :-
- receive help and instruction on film
making techniques and technical matters
- join in general discussion
- sort out equipment problems
- shoot films or titles
- or just chat
Video projection
- All videos at meetings are projected on
to a big screen
- The video projector is available for
hire to members and local clubs
Annual show of members’ films
- The chance for members to show their
films on a big screen to a wider audience.
Moviepage
- A monthly newsletter which keeps you in
touch with what is going on.
Annual subscription
- £10 for the first member of a household
and £2 for each additional member
- £5 for students and junior members
(under 18).
Attendance fee
- £1 payable at each meeting attended,
which includes tea and biscuit.
- 50p for students and junior members
